Some of Our Summer Fun

This summer we have loved going camping in our trailer. We have taken it out 4 times in the last month and a half. We have gone up Payson Canyon, Spanish Fork Canyon, Nephi Canyon and to a lake by Manti. In all of these places the kids have enjoyed playing in the water, catching bugs, frogs, and snakes, going on adventures, riding their bikes, sitting around the fire, and having a bunk bed to sleep in at the end of the day (just to name a few).
Our favorite was probably Palisades State Park by Manti. We rented a paddle boat, jumped off floating docks,went golfing, fishing, and had a mini-family Olympics.
We are looking forward to a couple more expeditions before it turns cold.

Preston's First Day of School

Preston was very excited for his first day of 2nd grade. His teacher's name is Miss Whitmore. He drew her a picture of a flower, made her a card and took her an apple. He has been in school for a little over a week now and is loving it. They are in the middle of a 2nd grade Olympics. He has been practicing his events at home so he can do his best. He has 6 boys from our ward in his class and loves riding his scooter to school.

Katie's First Day of Kindergarten

Katie was so excited for her first day of Kindergarten. Her teacher's name is Mrs. Mitchell. She is supposed to be a great teacher and Katie loves her already. She said "Mom, she is just so great. She's just like a Mom." It's hard to believe that my little girl is growing up so fast.
